Anytime Fitness in Sebastian recently had a big reopening party after the new owners spent nearly $40,000 fixing it up. They put in new floors, a fresh coat of paint, new gym gear, and even energy-saving LED lights.
One cool addition is a new area covered in turf. This space will feature MyZone heart rate monitors and functional gear like new ropes, sleds, and assault bikes. All these new items will show up in April.
Plus, the gym now employs three personal trainers who are nationally certified. Unlike before, these trainers work directly for Anytime Fitness in Sebastian.
Committed to Cleanliness
Anytime Fitness is committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all its members. The gym has a professional cleaning team visit thrice a week and assigns daily cleaning duties to its staff to ensure the premises remain spotless.
This ensures that no matter what equipment you use – be it weights or the treadmill – you can have peace of mind knowing you’re working out in a clean space. To help keep the equipment clean, each member is provided a microfiber towel upon entering.
Moreover, the gym has made virus disinfectant spray readily available throughout the facility, adding an extra layer of protection for its members.
Co-Owner – Erik Hughes
Erik Hughes, a 4th generation Brevard County resident, has been a key figure at Anytime Fitness for the past seven years. He wants to assure the community that the local Anytime Fitness in Sebastian remains under local control, not taken over by corporate America.

Joining Hughes in ownership is Bryan Swain, who plays an active role in daily operations. Swain, a veteran of the fitness industry with over 15 years of experience, has been instrumental in introducing top-tier training programs across various gym brands.
Hughes and Swain have been friends for 30 years and share a common vision. They’re dedicated to continuing senior classes and broadening the gym’s offerings to cater to diverse interests and skill levels.
Hughes emphasized to Sebastian Daily their commitment to customer service. “Our focus is to ensure that we provide the best experience for everyone,” he stated.
