Sebastian Centennial sponsors, Pareidolia Brewing Company and Mash Monkey Brewing Company, are providing special koozies for free with every purchase of the “Thanks Teddy Lager” at either location while supplies last.
Pareidolia will have their event on Thursday, July 4th, and Mash Monkeys will have theirs on Friday, July 5th.
The “Thanks Teddy Lager” is a collaboration by the two breweries to celebrate the City of Sebastian’s Centennial. This light lager is brewed with centennial hops, known for its easy drinkability and refreshing taste. Patrons describe it as “clean, crisp, and very refreshing.”
The lager also honors a significant historical event from 1903 when President Theodore Roosevelt established Pelican Island as the first National Wildlife Refuge in the nation, aimed at protecting local nesting birds.
Pelican Island is recognized as the nation’s most historic refuge, situated in an area originally inhabited by the Ais people from 2000 BCE until the mid-1600s.
