The Sebastian City Council has approved a new luxury RV and tiny home resort situated between Davis Street and Indian River Drive.
The “Open Spaces Luxury RV Resort and Tiny Homes” project was unanimously approved following a favorable review by the City’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
Located on a 3 1/2-acre lot at 608 Davis Street, between Squid Lips and Sebastian Saltwater Restaurant, the new resort promises to offer a unique short-term RV experience. The main access to the resort will be from Davis Street, facilitating easy entry for guests.
Plans for the development include full RV hookups, a modern amenity center, and connection to county sewer lines, ensuring the absence of septic tanks on the premises.
Designed with upscale RV travelers in mind, Open Spaces aims to provide amenities such as high-speed internet, enhanced safety and security measures, an outdoor cooking area, and spacious dining spaces. Guests will also enjoy the convenience of on-site showers and laundry facilities.
The resort will feature a few tiny homes on the property, welcoming both RV and non-RV guests. At launch, the facility will offer a total of 13 pads for RVs and tiny homes.
Although an official opening date has yet to be announced, the owners were granted a permit valid for the next three years. This development marks a significant investment in local tourism, promising to attract travelers seeking luxury and comfort for a maximum of 90 days.
