For the third straight year, Pareidolia Brewing Company has been voted the Number 1 pub by readers of Sebastian Daily. The annual voting was conducted through our newsletter subscribers.

After moving to Florida from the Pacific Northwest, Pete and Lynn Anderson opened the brewery in 2014, inspired by their love of craft beer and the lack of breweries in the area at the time.
Pareidolia has an impressive lineup of craft beers, ranging from classic styles like IPAs and stouts to more experimental brews with unique flavor profiles.
In addition, Pareidolia is deeply involved in the Sebastian community, regularly hosting events throughout the year that benefit local charities and partnering with local organizations.
Pareidolia also serves great food, and while their menu focuses on casual fare, they emphasize fresh, high-quality ingredients in dishes such as sandwiches, hot dogs, flatbread pizza, pretzels with beer cheese, fish dip, and more.
Patrons at Pareidolia tell us they enjoy the inviting atmosphere of the taproom. They also appreciate the live music, and we often see families playing board games or meeting other locals.
While Pareidolia takes the crown, Sebastian’s other pubs offer fantastic experiences as well. JJ Mannings provides an Irish pub atmosphere, while Village Tavern serves up delicious food alongside its brews. Mash Monkeys Brewing Co. is another popular choice, known for quality beer and live music.
Debuting this year on the list at Number 10 is the Smokin’ Bungalow, located at the corner of Coolidge Street and Indian River Drive. This 8-month-old small business offers 26 craft brews on a bamboo-covered patio with a stage for live entertainment.
