The weather looks favorable for tonight’s launch scheduled at Cape Canaveral for Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 7 p.m.
Tonight’s SpaceX mission will carry more Starlink satellites to launch into orbit.
SpaceX says the Falcon 9’s first stage booster will attempt to land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
If you want to see the launch better than the naked eye, there are some good binoculars to see the rocket up close in the sky. Most of them are waterproof, and it’s much better than watching a trail of smoke.
Falcon 9 is a reusable, two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX for the reliable and safe transport of people and payloads into Earth orbit and beyond.
It’s also the world’s first orbital class reusable rocket. Reusability allows SpaceX to refly the most expensive parts of the rocket, which in turn drives down the cost of space access.
