The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 56 will host a Boating Safety Training Class in Vero Beach aimed at equipping boaters with essential skills and knowledge for safe and legal operation.
The event, led by certified instructors, is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 39, located at 1535 Old Dixie Hwy, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
This comprehensive, day-long course is designed for boaters of all experience levels. The course will cover critical topics such as understanding your vessel, preparing to get underway, navigation rules, safe boating practices, federal and Florida boating laws, and emergency response techniques.
