15th Annual Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup – Cleaning 125 miles of waterway

Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup

Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup

The 15th Annual Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup, hosted by the Marine Resource Association, will be Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm, and Cleanup Week will be July 16 – 24. This cleanup effort will combine the weeklong “self-reporting” effort and the live event.

During the Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup, participants will clean up 125 miles of waterways in Indian River, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties. Since 2008, over 12,260 volunteers with more than 3,150 boats have removed excess of 95.45 tons of trash from our Treasure Coast waterways.

Students, service clubs, yacht clubs, or anyone who wants to be part of the solution to pollution is welcome to participate.

All ages are welcome to participate. Volunteers will receive an event T-shirt, and watercraft will receive a commemorative burgee to fly, which indicates that they are part of the event.
