American Pickers TV series on the History Channel

American Pickers will travel again through Florida and will be in the greater Sebastian area in December, where they plan to film episodes of their History Channel television series.

“We’re looking for leads throughout the state, specifically interesting characters with fascinating items and lots of them. The way we find people and collections for our show is through spreading the word far and wide so that people know we’re coming to town,” Lynneisha Charles, American Pickers associate producer, told Sebastian Daily.

The American Pickers came through Sebastian in 2018 and 2019. Charles said they are excited to return, hoping to search for collections.

“Keep in mind, we are looking for different, unusual, and unique items, something we’ve never seen before with an extraordinary story,” she said.

Charles said Collectors interested in being considered for the show should reach out to them by phone at (646) 493-2184 or email at AmericanPickers@cineflix.com. Please include your full name, city/state, contact information, and a brief description of their collection.

“Also, please note that the Pickers only pick private collections, so no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses, or anything open to the public.”

The show is a documentary series that follows skilled pickers in the business as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques.

As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, they want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.

The Pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.
