The City of Sebastian’s Natural Resources Board will have its Annual Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, April 23rd, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Riverview Park in Sebastian. So, come out and help the City of Sebastian Celebrate a very successful first year of its ‘Sustainable Sebastian‘ initiative.
The Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration will include:
- Food & Retail Vendors
- Kid’s Activities: Face Painting, Scavenger Hunt, Poster Art Contest & more
- Family-Friendly Nature-Themed Activities
- Volunteers will be installing oyster mat wraps around the dock pilings at the observation pier to create a “living dock.”
- Live Music: Golden Ukes, Robert Johnson Band, Jason Nail
- Lagoon Art Show & Sale: Featuring the Sebastian River Art Club

- 9:15 am – 10:00 am – World Tai Chi Day Demonstration
- 10:00 am – 11:00 am – Jason Nail
- 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – The Golden Ukes

Contest & Raffles
- There will be a Poster Art Contest with prizes sponsored by the Fine Arts Festival.
- Sebastian Daily & Capt Hirams Resort will be giving (2) Tickets for the River King Cruise as the Scavenger Hunt Grand Prize.

Waste Management – Shred & Household Recycle Event
Waste Management’s shred and household recycling event will coincide with this event. So, bring your sensitive documents for shredding, recycle old electronics, or drop off unwanted household items between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Riverview Park behind Speedway.
