On Saturday, September 30, 2023, Gulf Stream Council is offering a unique opportunity for boys & girls in kindergarten through high school who want to see what scouting is all about. Admission is free.
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Camp Oklawaha will open its gates for the highly anticipated “Be a Scout Day.” With the verdant surroundings of Camp Oklawaha as a backdrop, participants will be offered a unique window into the dynamic world of scouting.
A Scouting Odyssey
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a scout? The event provides an innovative approach for attendees, known as the Scouting Passport. With this passport in hand, visitors can travel around the vast expanse of Camp Oklawaha, engaging in many activities that offer an authentic taste of a scout’s life.
Adventure Awaits at Every Corner
The array of activities is designed to ignite curiosity and spark enthusiasm:
- Shooting Sports
- Fishing
- First Aid
