FELLSMERE — The small town of Fellsmere is gearing up for its annual celebration with Fellsmere Day, slated for Saturday, March 1, 2025.
This family-friendly event promises a full morning of festivities, from a lively parade to captivating performances, a charming pageant, and a free kids’ zone for all ages.
The day kicks off bright and early with the parade line-up at 8:00 a.m., followed by the official start at 9:00 a.m. The parade will wind its way through the heart of Fellsmere, beginning at the intersection of North Broadway Street and South Carolina Avenue.
From there, it will proceed along North Broadway, transitioning to South Broadway, and concluding at Michigan Avenue in the parking lot just south of the ballpark. Locals are encouraged to line the route and wave to participants.
At 10:15 a.m., the entertainment takes center stage with a lineup of talented performers. The Storm Grove Cheerleaders will bring their high-energy routines, followed by the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Group, showcasing cultural flair.
The Pro Sports Cheer Squads will add a professional sparkle to the mix, and the Indian River County Sheriff’s K9 Unit is sure to steal the show with their impressive canine skills.
A highlight of the day will be the Little Miss & Mr. Fellsmere Pageant, open to boys and girls ages 4 to 8 who reside within the Fellsmere zip code area. This heartwarming tradition celebrates the town’s youngest residents and is always a crowd favorite.
From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., families can head to the free kids’ zone, where bounce houses, games, and face painting will keep little ones entertained at no cost.
No celebration is complete without good eats, and Fellsmere Day won’t disappoint. A handful of food trucks will be on hand to satisfy hungry attendees, while vendor booths will offer a variety of goods and treats to browse.
