VERO BEACH – Santa Paws and his reindeer will be stopping his sleigh at The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB) on Saturday, November 18th and Sunday, November 19th from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
During his short stay in Vero Beach, pets and their family members will be able to get their photos snapped with jolly Santa and his adorable elf assistants.
The shelter is located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach.
“I must confess that the friendliest pets live along the Treasure Coast. They are very cute, always sweet and well behaved,” Santa Paws revealed during a brief phone interview from his workshop at the North Pole.
In years past, Santa has met a variety of pets while visiting HSVB including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, chickens and even a bearded dragon in Vero Beach.
Since the animals often ask Santa if he will “lend a paw” to help less fortunate animals, a $5 donation can be given at the door so the Humane Society can make their holiday wish come true.
“It’s heart-warming that the community is supportive of helping its needy animals,” Santa Paws explained, adding that the $5 donation includes a digital file that is emailed to pet parents.
Family sittings are welcomed at the Vero Beach shelter and the photos make great gifts or can be used for printing holiday cards.
Santa Paws asks that reservations be made prior to his visit so that he can spend quality time with every animal and family.
If you and your pet(s) would like to be photographed with Santa Paws, please call (772) 388-3331 ext. 110 to make a reservation.
