VERO BEACH – Sharlotte Smith, a local Vero Beach artist, is coming out of retirement after a three-year hiatus from the art scene.
This important decision was made after learning about H.A.L.O. Animal Rescue’s monthly “Artisans at the Mall” Arts & Crafts Event held inside the Indian River Mall.
Not only has Sharlotte decided to be a vendor at the event, she is donating 100% of her proceeds to benefit the efforts of H.A.L.O. She is also graciously donating one of her limited edition, framed prints entitled “Sandhills and Chick” as a raffle item.
Sharlotte began her adventure in watercolors in 1998, using her own photographs as inspiration. Her award-winning work has been selected to appear in numerous juried exhibits and local festivals, including Vero’s “Under the Oaks” before retiring in 2015.
As a Vendor at “Artisans at the Mall,” she will be offering her matted prints and notecards. Her decision to join this worthy cause is based solely on wanting to help support H.A.L.O. Animal Rescue.
You can visit with Sharlotte at H.A.L.O.’S “Artisans at the Mall” event on July 7th from 11-4 p.m. Wear your walking shoes, as there will be much to see!
