Get ready to tap your boots and enjoy a seafood feast for a good cause. This weekend, February 21-22, The Old Fish House Bar & Grill in Grant is cranking up the country music and rolling out a celebration like no other: the Indian River Lagoon Clam Restoration Shindig.
Blending legendary tunes, fresh local flavors, and a heartfelt commitment to Florida’s waterways, the event promises two nights of fun while supporting a critical environmental effort.
Every penny raised will go straight to the Indian River Lagoon Clam Restoration Project, which is working to revive the lagoon’s fragile ecosystem. By reintroducing millions of clams, the project aims to improve water quality and boost seagrass growth—key steps in protecting this vital natural resource that supports both the environment and the region’s economy.

A Lineup of Country Legends
The musical lineup is set to draw crowds with some of country music’s most iconic songwriters:
- Dean Dillon, a Country Music Hall of Fame inductee and the mastermind behind over 60 George Strait hits, including “Unwound,” “The Chair,” and “Ocean Front Property.” He’s also the co-writer of the timeless “Tennessee Whiskey.”
- Scotty Emerick, a longtime collaborator with Toby Keith, known for writing crowd-pleasers like “I Love This Bar” and “Beer for My Horses.” His songs have also been belted out by Willie Nelson and George Strait.
- George Clarke, a local favorite, will kick things off at 5 p.m. each night, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of music.
Seafood, Sunsets, and Support
In true Old Fish House style, attendees can feast on a complimentary seafood spread starting at 5 p.m. each night. Expect a mouthwatering lineup of Oysters Rockefeller, Peel ‘n’ Eat Shrimp, a hearty Seafood Boil, OF Clams, and more—showcasing the freshest local catches.
Outdoor seating is available, but reservations are required, and donations are warmly encouraged to support the clam restoration effort.
