HALO No-Kill Rescue
Founded in 2006 by Jacque Petrone, H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue has pioneered animal welfare in Indian River County. Driven to help animals live and overcome, Petrone established the first and only no-kill shelter in Indian River County.
Through sixteen years of relentless determination, H.A.L.O. has expanded its shelter, hosted hundreds of fundraising events, and mobilized thousands of volunteer hours. As a result, the organization has rescued over 20,000 pets and dramatically reduced euthanasia rates in Indian River County by over 92%.
