The Pareidolia Open Golf Scramble, an annual event hosted by the local brewery Pareidolia Brewing Company, once again proved to be a success.
Held on July 27th at Sand Ridge Golf Club, the tournament brought together 100 golfers all eager to support a worthy cause: The Arc of Indian River County.
With the generous support of volunteers from the Sebastian Elks Lodge and a host of sponsors, the Pareidolia Open Golf Scramble raised $7,000. This significant contribution will directly benefit The Arc of Indian River County, an organization dedicated to providing essential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Pareidolia Open Golf Scramble is more than just a charity event; it’s a celebration of community and Solidarity. Participants enjoyed a day of friendly competition on the green, followed by a lunch and the opportunity to socialize with fellow golfers.
The event was further enhanced by a raffle, offering participants the chance to win exciting prizes while contributing to the cause.
This year’s tournament marked the third consecutive year the brewery hosted the Open Golf Scramble. Over the past three years, the event has raised a total of over $20,000 for local charities, demonstrating the brewery’s commitment to giving back to the community.
