SEBASTIAN – Pro Sport cheerleaders are putting our hometown on the All-Star cheerleading map.
Pro Sport Fitness, located in Sebastian, is on their third season and ready to finish off on a triumphant note. Owned by Indian River native Chelsea Norris, this gym is showing that small can certainly be mighty.
Pro Sport is proud to announce that their Junior Level 1 All-Star team Sizzle won the US Final Championship hosted by Varsity All-Star April 27, 2019 in Kansas City.
To be invited to the US Finals, the teams must receive a bid throughout their season for high placement. Not only did team Sizzle receive this invitation but they also earned a Gold Bid, which designated them as one of the highest scoring teams invited to attend this massive event.
It is just one of many significant accomplishments this team has earned this season, among multiple Grand Championship titles, bids and numerous first place wins.
The team was also recently featured by Cheer Sounds in a promotional video for the largest music provider for USASF cheer programs, and have been selected to compete at one of the nation’s most prestigious cheerleading competitions for small gyms, The D2 Summit, produced by Varsity All Star.
Teams competing at the D2 Summit must receive a bid at a prior competition to be eligible to participate. They are the first team that has earned the right to represent Indian River County at this prestigious event.
D2 Summit will be streamed on Varsity TV May 10th – 12th.
Pro Sport is currently taking early registrations for Season Four and will be holding open tryouts May 18, 2019. The program starts at the age of 3 and is open for all experience levels.
