Thanksgiving is fast approaching, a time we look forward to for its cherished tradition of enjoying meals with family and friends. Yet, for many families, the holiday presents the challenge of being able to afford such a feast.
So, Sebastian River High School’s (SRHS) Chum Bucket is stepping up with an initiative that actively gathers contributions to ensure all families enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. In previous years, their efforts provided meals to 65 families locally.
The Chum Bucket was founded in 2015 to help students needing food and hygiene products. It helps many local families while keeping their names confidential. The success of this endeavor relies on the generous support of community members like yourself.
