Most people call her the best crossing guard in Sebastian, but now Tinamarie Ioffredo has been named the Crossing Guard of the Year for the State of Florida.
“I love being a crossing guard,” Tinamarie Ioffredo told Sebastian Daily.
Ioffredo can be found at the intersection of CR-512 (Sebastian Blvd.) and Delaware Avenue in Sebastian. She’s been a crossing guard for the past nine years and has a lot of fun with her job.
She tries to put a smile on the faces of every child she makes contact with and wishes them a great day after walking them across Sebastian Boulevard on their way to school.
But, she is more than just a crossing guard, Ioffredo has been very involved with several events in the community for more than 13 years.
Here are some of the events she helps out with:
- Shop With A Cop
- Christmas in July
- Family Night Out for Sebastian and Vero Beach
- Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine
- Sebastian School Functions
- Easter Events
- Halloween Events
- Special Olympics
- Cancer Events
- Nonprofit Hip Hop Dance Class
She truly loves Sebastian and the people.
In addition, Ioffredo and her husband Danny have owned and operated DJ SHHH-OP Djing for approximately 18 years in Sebastian.
“We donate our services every year for Shop with a Cop, Christmas in July, Family night out for Sebastian and Vero Beach, Tim Tebow’s Night To Shine, among other events with the community,” Ioffredo said.
You can always find Ioffredo and her husband at Riverview Park, helping out at local events like the Clambake Festival and the Shrimp Festival.
Congratulations Tinamarie Ioffredo!
