The Environmental Learning Center (ELC) invites you to join them for Valentine’s Mangrove Magic, an evening that blends romance, adventure, and family-friendly fun, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Indian River Lagoon.
This unique Valentine’s-themed event will occur on Friday, February 7 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Event Highlights:
- Illuminated Trails: Wander through thousands of twinkling lights along scenic trails.
- Campfire & S’mores: Gather around the fire, tell stories, and make outdoor memories.
- Living Lagoon: Aquariums, a large touch tank, an indoor active beehive, a full-size manatee skeleton, and many other interpretive exhibits. Valentine’s Day Crafts: Valentine-themed crafts that are fun for all ages.
- Mangrove Magic Encounter: For an extra touch of magic, a guide will take you through lit mangrove tunnels in a canoe, an experience not to be missed. Canoe ride tickets are $15 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the event.

- Admission: $10 (Free for 11 and under) $15 per person for a canoe ride (no reservations needed; first come – first served) $5 for two s’mores
What’s Included: Your ticket grants you access to Valentine-themed crafts, the campfire, art galleries inspired by nature, the Living Lagoon with its aquariums and touch tanks, the Nature Nook eco-boutique, and our newly introduced nature playscape.
