Yappy Hour with H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue at Capt Hirams Resort

HALO No Kill Shelter

H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue will be hosting Yappy Hour in Capt Hirams Resort’s parking lot on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. So, head over to Capt. Hirams, and find your new best friend.

These adorable dogs are currently available at H.A.L.O. If you’re truly interested, we urge you not to wait until the event as they may find their forever homes before then.

Cynn

Cynn – Pit Mix

Cynn is a 5-year-old female Pit Mix weighing 70 lbs. She is house-trained and good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Cynn is well-mannered, a good listener, and comfortable being left home alone. She loves snoozing on the couch, playing fetch, and visiting the park.

Jake

Jake – Yorkie

Jake is an almost 14-year-old Yorkie with a sweet temperament. This senior gentleman is experiencing high anxiety in the shelter and is looking for a loving home for his golden years. Jake is house-trained, good with kids, cats, and other dogs, and enjoys car rides.

Oakley

Oakley “Oaks” – Catahoula Mix

Oakley, affectionately known as “Oaks,” is a 1-year-old Catahoula Mix. He is house-trained and does well with kids, cats, and other dogs. Oaks is sweet, goofy, loves giving kisses, and enjoys beach walks.

Sullivan

Sullivan – Dogo Argentino Mix

One-year-old Sullivan is a Dogo Argentino Mix. About 20% of this breed is born deaf; sadly, he was no exception. However, his hearing loss is not a problem for him. His foster mom has taught him a few hand signals, like sit, down, come, wait, shake, and rollover.

He is great with other dogs and cats and loves children. He does very well on a leash and is almost completely crate-trained. Being born deaf, he will need a lot of guidance with recall, especially because he loves to chase lizards and butterflies.
