GIFFORD – Friends and family are mourning the death of 30-year-old Jamaal Metu of Gifford.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office has not officially identified a body that was found in Gifford on Thursday.
A family member reached out and told Sebastian Daily that Metu’s body was discovered in a wooded area near 45th street and 32nd Avenue in Gifford.
“Call of male subject in bushes came in at 4:17pm,” The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Sebastian Daily will publish more information about Metu in the coming days.
