The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify two subjects involved in a shooting in Vero Lake Estates last weekend.
The incident occurred on Sunday, November 24th, at 4:21 a.m., at the 7700 block of 100th CT in Vero Lake Estates, where the subjects were attempting to steal an automobile.
Detectives said the homeowner’s dog was barking, and when he went outside, the homeowner saw a white male wearing a black hoodie inside his vehicle.
There was also another male wearing a black Adidas jacket across the street.
When confronted, the subject in the vehicle ran south on 100th CT, and the subject across the street shot the homeowner in the arm.
