SEBASTIAN – A man who purchased and drank a pint of vodka Wednesday at the Sebastian Walmart was arrested after “yelling and cursing” at employees and customers, arrest records show.
Sebastian Police were dispatched to Walmart, located at 2001 U.S. Highway 1, in reference to a man causing a disturbance inside the store, the affidavit said.
Edward Anthony Lenart was “yelling and cursing” at people at the north entrance to the store, the report said.
The staff told police that Lenart entered the store acting irate towards employees and customers, telling everyone he could talk to them “however the fu** he wanted to,” according to the affidavit.
He was also “calling several people ‘nigg**s’ as they walked by and said ‘he wasn’t one so don’t treat him like that,'” employees told police.
Lenart also took his shirt off telling employees that he could do whatever he wanted. Employees told police Lenart appeared very intoxicated, according to the report.
When Lenart yelled and cursed at one employee, they asked him to leave them alone. He would then call them a bit** and told them to “shut the fu** up” as he walked by them, the report said.
Two other people told police they were with Lenart and that he drank an entire pink of vodka while waiting for them to leave a doctor’s appointment. The appointment was an hour long, the affidavit said.
Officers confirmed with staff inside the Walmart liquor store that Lenart purchased a pint of vodka within an hour, police said.
