On Monday night at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Tunison Lane about an occupied burglary, according to the Sebastian Police Department.
“One person in the residence advised they heard knocking on their window around 10:45 p.m. and a brief time later observed a tall black male standing between two bedrooms,” Captain Timothy Wood told Sebastian Daily.
Wood said the male was confronted and exited the home.
Police were unable to locate anyone after establishing a perimeter and utilizing a K-9.
The home intruder was described as 6’3″ tall, between 200 to 250 lbs. with a possible accomplice outside tapping on one of the bedroom windows.
Sebastian police are still investigating.
