SEBASTIAN – Get ready for the 2nd annual Brews N’ Beans Chili Cook-Off Brew Expo that will take place on Saturday, April 1, from 1-5 p.m.
All proceeds from the Brews N’ Beans Chili Cook-Off benefit the Arc of Indian River County. The Arc is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 agency, dedicated to meeting the needs of people with developmental disabilities in Indian River County.
“Last year we raised $600 for the ARC of Indian River County. My goal is to try and double the amount we raise annually for the next three years. Those folks provide an invaluable service in our area on a very small budget,” Pete Anderson of Pareidolia Brewing Co. told Sebastian Daily.
It’s a great time to get your friends together for a fun afternoon at Pareidolia Brewing Co. in Sebastian with live music from “Mojo” Mike Brown.
Several local home brewers will be behind the pub brewing up their recipes while judging takes place during the chili cook-off.
You can enter your chili by bringing a large crock pot and ladle. The Chili Expo will provide spoons, bowls, and electricity. $10 per entry will be collected the day of the event.
The Brews N’ Beans Chili Cook-Off Brew Expo in Sebastian will take place at Pareidolia Brewing Co., River Park Plaza, 482 U.S. 1. It’s the plaza south of Riverview Park.
