SEBASTIAN – Earl’s Hideaway Lounge, located at 1405 Indian River Dr. in Sebastian, will be hosting a Law Enforcement Appreciation Rally and Poker Run on Saturday, May 12th.
A free breakfast for law enforcement will be provided at Earl’s Hideaway from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with Poker Run registration.
“In honor of Police Memorial Week, Earl’s Hideaway will host a day long special event honoring our Law Enforcement Officers. FREE Breakfast and Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by a Poker Run to 5 different Stations, from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.,” Franni Southern told Sebastian Daily.
The Poker Run is from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. with the following stops:
- Sebastian Police Department
- Fellsmere Police Department
- Vero Beach Police Department
- Indian River Shores Public Safety Department
- Indian River County Sheriff’s Office
Hayfire will provide live music until 6 p.m.
The emcees will be Sebastian Police Chief Michelle Morris and Col. Danny McKnight of Blackhawk Down. At 4 p.m., Col. McKnight will be handing out Poker Run prizes. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
All proceeds go to the Wounded Officers Initiative. Law Enforcement Patch trading and Challenge Coins are encouraged.
