42nd Haunted House “Terror on Main Street”
The GFWC Sebastian River Junior Woman’s Club will be hosting its 42nd Haunted House, “Terror on Main Street,” starting October 7, 2022, at 7:30 pm. The Haunted House, located at 1036 Main Street, will be open at 7:30 pm on October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30, 31.
Admission is $10 per person; there are no children’s rates.

Pumpkin Carving & Scarecrow Building Contest at LaPorte Farms
LaPorte Farms is hosting pumpkin carving & scarecrow building contests on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the farm. Contestants will need to bring their own tools for the pumpkin carving contest. All pumpkins must be carved at LaPorte Farms to be judged for cash prizes. Judging will begin at 1:00 pm.
Scarecrow-building contestants should bring clothes and accessories; hay will be provided. Judging will begin at 3:00 pm.

Halloween Boo Bash at Riverview Park
The 2nd Annual Halloween Boo Bash will be October 22nd and 23rd at Riverview Park, Saturday 9:30 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. They will have face painting, pumpkin crafts, live music, candy, and more than 100 vendors and food trucks. Face painting & pumpkin crafts will be Sunday 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

City of Sebastian: Annual Halloween Costume Contest & Movie Night
The City of Sebastian and the Sebastian Police Department invite you to the Twin Piers at Riverview Park for their annual Halloween Costume Contest and Movie Night on Friday, October 28, 2022.
There will be prizes, pumpkin decorating, and lots of candy.
- Contest Registration begins at 5:30 pm
- The Costume Contest begins at 6:15 pm
- Movie Night starts at 7:00 pm

Spooktacular and Haunted Gardens at Rock City Gardens
Rock City Gardens will open their Spooktacular and Haunted Gardens on October 29th & 30th at 7:00 pm.
They will have zombies, witches, and a cast of spooktacular characters’ story time with Maleficent at 7:00 pm & 8:00 pm. In addition, they will have hayrides with a headless horseman, witches’ brew, and trick r’ treats.
Cost: $12 in advance/$15 at the door; Children 12 and under are free. Gates close at 9:30 pm.
Capt Hirams Resort – Halloween Bash & Costume Contest
Capt Hirams Resort will have its annual Halloween Bash with its popular costume contest on Saturday, October 29, 2022, beginning at 9:00 pm. The theme this year is “Fire & Ice!”
Live music by Chemistry will begin at 7:30 pm. Contestants must be registered & checked in by 9:00 pm to compete.
Costume Categories/Prizes
There are three categories to compete in; you are allowed to participate in one of the three.
- Scariest or Creepiest: 1st place $500 | 2nd place $200
- Halloween Couple: 1st place $500 | 2nd place $200
- Most Original or Authentic: 1st place $500 | 2nd place $200

- Judge’s Choice Award: $500 (Sponsored by Bacardi)
Advance Registration runs until October 28, 2022. If you have not registered by October 28, please make your way to the registration table before 9:00 pm the night of the event.

Everyone must check in at the registration table no later than 9:00 pm. You will need to pick up a number in order to compete. If you do not check in or get your number, you will not be allowed to compete!

LaPorte Farms’ Fall Festival
LaPorte Farms’ will be hosting its Fall Festival Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the farm located at 7700 129th St, in Sebastian. $2 donation per person. Activities: Train rides, a Mechanical Bull, Pony Rides, and a Home Depot Kid’s Workshop.
Food: Hamburgers, Hot dogs, sausage, peppers, and onions.
