VERO BEACH – The Rotary Club of Vero Beach has ten professional rib vendors competing for the Twisted Tail Ribfest trophy Saturday, March 24th 12 PM – 8 PM & Sunday, March 25th 12:00-6:00 p.m. at Riverside Park in Vero Beach.
The professional rib vendor competitors include Cross Country BBQ (Ft. Pierce), Piggy Palace BBQ (Plant City), Grant’s Barbeque (Gifford), Porky-N-Beans (Port St. Lucie), R & R BBQue (Miami), Skin N Bones BBQ (Arcadia), SoFlo Bistro (Vero Beach), Tommy T’s BBQ (Vero Beach), BubbaQue’s BBQ (Chiefland), and Uncle Kenny’s BBQ (Clermont).
In addition to the rib vendors, there will be over 40 vendors with other food options for those who do not enjoy a good barbeque.
This 2-day event will have five different bands and lots of beer from Southern Eagle Distributing. Parking and admission for Twisted Tail Ribfest are free.
Rotary Club of Vero Beach
Founded in 1926, the (original) Rotary Club of Vero Beach has been serving the community through both local and international projects.
This is their most significant fundraising event of the year, with 100% of the net sales going to the Vero Beach Rotary Charities Foundation, their 501(c)(3) organization.
The primary beneficiaries this year are Camp Haven, the Environmental Learning Center, and the Gifford Youth Achievement Center.
