With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, it’s time to finalize your attire and decide where you will eat, drink and dance! Thankfully, Sebastian has quite a few places to choose from this year.
River Days & Craft Brew Hullabaloo
The River Days festival will be serving corned beef and cabbage on Friday, March 17th, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm for St. Patrick’s Day at the Rotary Resturant. The cost is $12.00 per meal.
The meals will be prepared by the Sebastian River High School culinary arts students. All profits support youth sports teams and organizations throughout North Indian River County.
They will also have Guinness and an Irish Red from Pareidolia Brewing Company on the beer trucks. Charlie Q will be opening the event with his Irish songs from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm & Dottie Kelly & Rock The House Band will perform 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Mash Monkeys Brewing Company will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 17, 2023, beginning at 3:00 pm with beer specials, a food truck, and an Irish sing-a-long.

History of St. Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated annually on the anniversary of his death in the fifth century, which was March 17th. On St. Patrick’s Day, which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. The lenten prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived, and people would feast on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage, dance, and drink.
