“As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a surgeon,” explains Dr. Figueroa. “Growing up, I watched Dr. Ben Casey and Dr. Kildare on television. The whole persona of what it was to be a surgeon inspired me. The idea that life hangs in the balance and that I might be the one person that can tip that balance in the patient’s favor carried me through the hard days and dedication it requires to be a surgeon.”
When it comes to patient care, Dr. Figueroa believes in open and honest patient communication, treating those he serves with dignity and respect, and getting his patients back to living their lives.
“I will keep my patients updated, provide them with timely reports and referrals, deliver the best possible outcomes, and when possible, offer my patients minimally invasive surgery to return them to living a normal life.”
Dr. Figueroa is now accepting patients in Sebastian.
