Sebastian’s Roadhouse Restaurant is set to open Saturday, January 23, 2021, after employees have tested negative for COVID-19. The restaurant has also completed its deep cleaning.
“All remaining staff have tested negative for COVID, and we have completed our deep cleaning. So, we will be reopening tomorrow, Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm. We will be closed Sunday as usual,” restaurant owner Thomas Wright told Sebastian Daily.
On Wednesday, Wright closed the restaurant after one employee tested positive for COVID-19. However, the employee contracted the virus from a family member and not anyone at the restaurant. The employee has since been in quarantine.
Wright didn’t have to close the restaurant, but he did so and completed a deep cleaning to be sure employees and customers were safe.
“While we are not required to close, we are doing so as an extreme precaution for the safety of our guests and staff,” Wright said on Wednesday.
