SEBASTIAN – We had the pleasure of attending the Central Florida Shootout weigh-in Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Captain Hirams sandbar in Sebastian.
It was a pretty cool experience watching all of the boats come in from fishing all day, and then anxiously waiting to see if their fish was going to win.
They conducted this year’s weigh-in a bit different. All of the fish were weighed in on the big bandstand stage so, everyone could be a part of the fun.
Everything seemed to go smoothly, so hopefully, they will continue with this new tradition.

The Central Florida Shootout Awards Party will be Sunday, May 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grills Riverside in Melbourne. There will be over $18,000 in cash and prizes given out.
