The piers at the Sebastian Inlet State Park are among the best in Florida, according to a study by FishingBooker.
The company recently published a detailed guide for seven best fishing piers in Florida and the Sebastian Inlet made the list.
“Florida has many amazing fishing spots and it can be tough to decide where to start. That’s why we chose the 7 best spots to fish in Florida without a boat,” FishingBooker spokeswoman Rebecca Johnson told Sebastian Daily.
Sebastian Inlet State Park has two piers, one on both sides of the inlet. This is the place where rich waters of Indian River meet the open Atlantic Ocean, making it a dream hunting ground for snook, redfish, trout, tarpon and much more.
If you want to cast a line in other places in Florida, this is the full list of places that made the list:
- Navarre Beach Fishing Pier
- Skyway Bridge Fishing Pier State Park
- Venice Fishing Pier
- Naples Pier
- Juno Beach Pier
- Sebastian Inlet State Park Piers
- Jacksonville Beach Pier
Sebastian Inlet State Park has two jetties, one on either side of the inlet itself. They’re not the longest piers in Florida, but they don’t need to be. The piers are great for Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, and much more.
The Sebastian Inlet State Park is located at 9700 S Hwy A1A at Melbourne Beach. For more information, call 321-984-4852.
