Brandon Gregory Kormanec, 33, from Sebastian, tragically passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Lawnwood Medical Center.
Brandon was born on July 19, 1990, in Vero Beach, FL, and raised in Sebastian, FL. He was an altar server at St. Sebastian Church for several years, participated in Tae Kwon Do at Kashi Ranch, and played youth football for the Sebastian River Panthers. He was best known for his generosity, witty humor, deep love for his family and friends, and a lifelong passion for fishing.
Brandon is survived by his loving and adoring parents, Kelly and Douglas Kormanec; cherished sisters, Alysa and Julia; and beloved brother, Andrew. Grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive him.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers Barton Gregory, John (Lee) Chapin, Paternal grandmother Irene Kormanec, and biological father James Gross.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church on US-1 in Sebastian, FL, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Service begins at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of his life will immediately follow in the La Sage Hall at St. Sebastian Church.
