Harold Fey Jr., 91 of Micco, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 14, 2025.
He was born in Merrick, New York on January 9, 1934 to Harold and Anita Hanse Fey.
He served our country in The United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1960. Harold then attended Farmingdale College in New York and studied Tree Service. He founded Harold Fey Jr. & Sons – Long Island Tree Service in Long Island, New York in 1954. He was a successful businessman and retired in his early 40s. While still with tree service, he began other careers. He enjoyed careers as a stock trader as well as real estate investor.
He enjoyed his time fishing, trading stock, cruising, water views and loved all foods and sweets. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and always would find time to call all of them almost every day. His family will miss his calls and love for them, which he expressed in his very special and personable way. When not with family and friends you could always find him spending time with his English bulldog, Sam.
Harold was most charitable towards others less fortunate throughout his life. He treated everyone as equals and cared for his community always.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Anita Fey.
He is survived by his loving life partner, Maria Ferraro, his beloved children; Arthur, Richard (Virginia), Jeffrey, Bonnie Fey-Gilliams (Damien H. Gilliams), Michael, Joan Foglia, and Christi L. Fey, step-children: Guy Fey and many others, many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his devoted English bulldog Sam.
A visitation for Harold Fey, Jr. will take place Sunday, January 19th starting at 12:00pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 1:00pm, at Strunk Funeral Home, 1623 N Central Ave, Sebastian, Florida 32958.
Harold Fey Jr. will be missed by all his family and dear friends of his community. The family is grateful for all the support and kindness they have received through such a profound loss.
