Ima Jean Heitzman, age 90, of Jefferson, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Ima Jean loved boating, camping, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Hal Huckeba and his wife Clare of Townville, S.C., and Robert Heitzman and his wife Linda of New Hope, Pa.; her daughter, Theresa Smith of Jefferson; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Ima Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Huckeba; her second husband, Charles Heitzman; her daughter, Janice Hassett; and her son-in-law, Clyde Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Larry Askew and Scott Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
