On Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, William (Bill) A. Wade died in his home from coronary heart disease at age 68.
Bill graduated from Scituate High School in 1972. He then joined the Marine Corps where he served for four years. He lived in Hollywood, FL for many years while working at Collins Avionics/Rockwell. He later moved to Sebastian, FL and was proud of being promoted to an electrical engineer at Rockwell/Raytheon
A life-long exerciser, Bill loved jogging on the beach. He also loved live music. From the Grateful Dead to music festivals in Live Oak, FL to decades of the Reggae SunSplash shows in Jamaica, Bill recorded hundreds of shows and shared the music he loved freely.
Bill was predeceased by his loving parents William Wade and Iris (Brenton) Wade and his sister Rahima (Carol) Wade. He is survived by his son William (Billy) H. Wade, his former wife, Cynthia Pless-Wade, his brother Steven M. Wade, and his sisters, Nancy W. Grant and Susan W. Swetland.
A private family celebration of his life will be held on May 6, 2023.
