SEBASTIAN – We noticed a Bubble House sign on Sebastian Boulevard (CR-512) offering unique teas and coffees. We just had to stop in and check this new place out.
Bubble House is where the Paradise Ice Cream shop used to be, but inside it has been redecorated as a cozy place to enjoy tea and coffee. You can sit inside where there’s a television, or outside to enjoy some sunshine as you sip on your beverage.
As you walk in, there is plenty of seating along the wall and a couple of round tables with chairs. They have multiple unique beverage selections and a cozy environment.
We wanted to try two beverages but didn’t know what to order. However, Pears Man, the owner, was very helpful and walked us through the menu items. She recommended a Passion Fruit Tea with Lychee Popping Boba for our first beverage and a Chocolate-Rasberry Coffee for the second.
The Passion Fruit Tea looked delicious and refreshing. We grabbed one of their large straws and tried it out. There are these little bubble things inside made out of the fruit lychee that come up the straw and compliment the drink. They call them “BOBA.” It was quite refreshing!
We then tried the Chocolate-Raspberry Coffee and thought that was refreshing too! Pears asked if it was too sweet and I said it was “perfect!” They will adjust your beverage to the way you like it.
The beverage prices at Bubble House start at $4.25, but they are running a special of $3 for any beverage until their grand opening on April 13, 2019. So, it is a great time to try out their teas and coffees.
This BOBA, also known as “tapioca balls” or “black pearls” are derived from the starch of the cassava root. When prepared perfectly, boba becomes sweet, chewy and translucent with a gummi bear-like texture about 1/4 of an inch in diameter.
The Bubble House is located at 661 Sebastian Boulevard in Sebastian, Florida.
Hours are Monday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. However, they close for 30 minutes between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Closed on Sundays.
