ROSELAND – This weekend, Burger King in Roseland has been conducting a soft opening, but customers are complaining about their service. The new fast-food restaurant opened last Thursday morning in the Riverwalk Shopping Center in front of Publix.
“At the new Burger King. Very slow. No one has any idea what they are doing,” a customer told Sebastian Daily while waiting in the drive-thru.
We’ve been to Burger King twice and decided to check it out a third time in the drive-thru. About seven minutes went by, and the vehicles moved once. We didn’t even make it to the speaker to place an order. We sat there about another minute before leaving. Cars only moved once during the seven minutes.
We then drove over to McDonald’s and picked up our food within two minutes. We’re not saying one is better than the other when it comes to food, but the service is way better at McDonald’s right now.
We do remember when McDonald’s opened just south of here, and it was a total disaster during their soft opening as well as their grand opening. All the orders were wrong in the drive-thru, and workers were panicking.
At Burger King, the food orders have been correct during our visits, but the service is very slow. We also think they are short on help.
Give Burger King time; things will improve towards the grand opening.
