We recently visited Downtown Crossing, located in The Village Square in Sebastian, for a late lunch.
Many of my New England friends rave about their lobster rolls, and while we have visited this establishment before, we never ordered their lobster roll.
So, that is what we ordered, a lobster roll with homemade onion rings on the side. When my basket came out, I’m not going to lie; the onion rings did not look like what I expected. However, I was pleasantly surprised; the onion rings were delicious, as was my lobster roll.
Now, I am a Floridian, so I don’t know a lot about Lobster Rolls, so I reached out to one of my New England friends:
“It’s wicked pissah,” Jane Swanda, of Massachusetts & Boston, told Sebastian Daily.
Downtown Crossing’s “On A Roll” portion of the menu includes: a grilled hotdog, Albacore tuna, fried shrimp, lobster, lobster with bacon, or whole belly clams.
In addition, they offer baskets, burgers, sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, subs, a kids menu, ice cream, frappes, beer, and wine.
If you haven’t visited Downtown Cross or haven’t been in a while, we suggest visiting them. We feel they are a great addition to Sebastian.
You can also read our previous Downtown Crossing review in Sebastian when we ordered the Cheese Steak Sub and the Clam Strips Basket.
