We searched for a new place for lunch this week and decided on the Village Tavern of Sebastian.
The Village Tavern is a hidden gem, with a variety of craft beers on tap and wine. The Taste of Asia and Downtown Crossing are also part of the Village Square in Sebastian.
When you walk into the Village Tavern, you get a cozy feeling, and the staff and patrons are amicable. The business is small but has a warm and welcoming feel.
The Village Tavern has multiple TVs on the walls and great music playing softly in the background.
As we sat down, they gave us a warm greeting and a fresh bowl of popcorn. This place is very charming, and the owner comes out to check on you at times.
I like their menu, precise and straightforward. I can appreciate that.
Lobster Mac & Cheese
I saw Lobster Mac & Cheese as one of their lunch specials and decided on having it. They are testing this dish to determine if they are adding it to their regular menu.
It’s served with a small salad and a couple of toasted garlic bread pieces. You can use the bread to stack the Lobster Mac & Cheese onto or eat the bread by itself.
The meal is filling, and there was a good portion of lobster mixed in. It was delicious. The salad was crispy and fresh.
I will order this again.
