We recently went for an early dinner at Mulligans Beach House Bar & Grill and were reminded of its charm. It had been a while since we last went, so we were excited for a great meal.
As soon as we arrived, we were seated quickly. We wanted to sit inside, but the outside seating looked so nice that we changed our minds. The outdoor area had sliding windows, so it felt like we were outside. The view was amazing!
Our waitress, Rene, was friendly and also worked as the bartender. We asked her for meal suggestions, and she gave us some great options.
Appetizers
To start, we learned about the $5 appetizer specials on the back of the menu. From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, they offered nachos, pretzel bites, or spinach dip. We went for the nachos and were thrilled with our choice.
They were delicious and a good deal for the price.
Entress
Based on our server’s advice, I eagerly chose the Firecracker Shrimp Quesadillas, trusting our waitress’s knowledge. Without a doubt, Rene’s suggestion proved to be spot-on.
These quesadillas went beyond my expectations, bursting with incredible flavors. Packed with lots of shrimp, they were easily the tastiest dish I’ve ever had at Mulligans Beach House.
Served with yummy black beans and rice, the meal was an absolute treat. The portion size was so generous that I got to enjoy the leftovers later as a delightful late-night snack.
Andy wanted to taste the famous fresh Mahi sandwich. He could choose between grilled, blackened, or jerk styles, and he went with the blackened one. He also ordered a side of French fries for small upcharge.
When his plate arrived, we were surprised by how big the fish fillet was. It looked like it weighed at least 10 ounces, which was plenty for two meals. Andy enjoyed every bite of the tasty Mahi sandwich and was impressed by its flavor and size.
Locals VIP Card
When you go to Mulligan’s Beach House Bar & Grill next time, consider getting a Locals VIP Card if you don’t have one yet. This card gives you a 10% discount on your meal. On Tuesdays, when you buy one entree, the second one will be half off.
If you sign up for the VIP program online, you’ll also get a free firecracker shrimp appetizer.
Overall, our experience at Mulligans Beach House was really good, and we plan to go there more often. I highly recommend trying the delicious Firecracker Shrimp Quesadillas. Just make sure you come hungry!
