SEBASTIAN – We visited several restaurants and came up with a top 5 list of the Best Tacos in and around Sebastian, Florida. We didn’t have to go far to find great tacos.
Here’s our Top 5 List in Sebastian:
- Vargas Mexican Food
- Chubby Mullet
- Pareidolia Brewing Company
- Tiki Bar & Grill
- Captain Hiram’s (Blackfins)
Unfortunately, Taco Mobil did not make our top #5 list. As with any top 5 list we do, everyone else will have the opportunity to vote in our Peoples’ Choice poll.
Vargas Mexican Food was the best, everything from the tortilla to the fresh ingredients. They offer authentic Mexican food cuisine. Each taco is less than $2 and comes with your choice of steak, chicken, or pork.
Vargas is located near Wabasso at 8802 U.S. Highway 1 in Suite #1. It’s on the east side of U.S. Highway 1. You can also read our Vargas Mexican Food review. Their hours are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on most days, and closed on Sundays.
Chubby Mullet Bar and Grill in Micco offers a great $2 taco on Tuesdays. They also offer pork, chicken, or Mahi. We recently did a Chubby Mullet Taco Tuesday review. The restaurant is located inside the Sebastian Inlet Marina at 8685 U.S. Highway 1 in Micco.
Pareidolia Brewing Company offers a street taco on Tuesdays, which is slightly different from the rest. For the price of $8.95, you can get a complete meal including two loaded tacos, beans, and tortilla chips on the side. It’s a great value. You can check out our Pareidolia Taco Tuesday review for more info. They are located at 712 Cleveland Street in Sebastian.
Tiki Bar & Grill has great fish tacos for $10.50. They offer blackened Mahi with onions, fresh spinach, tomatoes, and cheese in a tortilla wrap. You can choose 2 sides: fries, macaroni salad, potato salad or cole slaw. They are located at 1109 Indian River Drive in Sebastian.
Blackfins at the Captain Hiram’s Resort has stepped up their dining. We enjoyed their triple trouble tacos with chicken for $12. You can also choose grilled shrimp for the same price or Mahi for $2 more. They come with cabbage, cheddar cheese, house made cilantro lime sour cream, and pico de gallo. They are served with french fries or cole slaw, or you can upgrade to pickle fries or onion rings for an additional $2. The restaurant is located at 1606 Indian River Drive in Sebastian.
