Players Spotlight – Niko Nocera #52
Senior Niko Nocera is a 6′ 3″ DL/OL with an offer to the University of Fort Lauderdale. He has been playing football since the age of 7 and hopes to play in college. Nocera currently has a GPA of 2.5. His academic goal is to receive a four-year degree.
When asked what the team and coaches mean to him, Nocera stated, “The coaches and team are my family, and I would do anything for them.”
Players Spotlight – Ranger Beach #26
Ranger Beach is a senior who currently plays running back and linebacker. He does not plan on playing football in college, but he wants to finish his senior year off strong.
Beach has a 4.7 GPA and likely plans to attend the University of Florida. But, he is still considering applying to some ivy league schools like Yale or Princeton.
“When I go to college, I’m thinking of taking a pre-law course for undergrad to become a lawyer, specifically an environmental lawyer. I want to be able to protect places like Sebastian’s natural beauty and fight for cleaner energy usage, or take a pre-med track to maybe become an optician or podiatrist,” Beach told Sebastian Daily.
Beach feels that the football coaching staff throughout his life has been a huge support system and has helped him grow into the young man he is today.
“This coaching staff has been a huge support system for me throughout high school, helping shape me into a young man. Beyond that, many of my coaches have been an important part of my life before high school, like Coach Rob at Barber park or Coach Perry teaching me how to throw a football at the boys and girls club,” Beach stated about his coaches through the years.”
Beach was equally enthusiastic about his teammates.
“My teammates have become my family since I’ve been playing with them, and I’m grateful that we can always find reasons to laugh and smile at practice. I’ve been playing with most of these guys for a huge portion of my life, and it’s been an honor to grow up alongside them,” Beach stated.
He enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with friends, and working out in his free time.
