Motorcycle Crash on U.S. Highway 1 in Micco Leaves Rider Seriously Injured

A motorcycle crash occurred on Sunday afternoon at approximately 2 p.m. on U.S. Highway 1 in Micco, involving a motorcycle and a car.

As of 9 a.m Monday, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) told Sebastian Daily that the motorcyclist is in stable condition.

The crash involved a 2022 Toyota Avalon and a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400.

The driver of the Toyota, an 81-year-old woman from Indian Harbour Beach, was not injured. The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man from Vero Beach, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center.

The FHP is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
