The Florida Highway Patrol has told Sebastian Daily that 25-year-old Corey J. Weber was pronounced dead at the crash scene that occurred on Roseland Road Wednesday morning.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 25-year-old Dylan R. Weston Owens, who is currently at Holmes Regional Medical Center where his condition is unknown.
Sources say the two men were at a local bar before driving on Roseland Road before the crash. Roseland Road was closed most of the day Wednesday by the FHP.
The FHP said the vehicle left the roadway entering the grass shoulder and traveled across two driveways before colliding with several mailboxes in between two driveways.
The vehicle became airborne after traveling over the second driveway and landed on the western grass shoulder of Roseland Road before colliding with several trees.
FHP Lieutenant Yanko Reyes told Sebastian Daily that the case is still pending a traffic homicide investigation.
