A 21-year woman died Thursday in a crash on State Road 60 in Vero Beach. Three others were taken to area hospitals.
The Florida Highway Patrol told Sebastian Daily that four people, all from Sebastian, were involved in the single vehicle crash.
The accident was reported at 10:03 a.m. and closed part of Route 60 for a couple of hours.
Two rear passengers were ejected from the vehicle after the driver, a 48-year-old man, lost control of the vehicle before it overturned.
The passengers were three women ages 55, 18, and 21.
The FHP said that as the vehicle traveled west, it went onto the grass shoulder. The driver “overcorrected to the left losing control.”
The vehicle then traveled northwest and overturned.
No other details are being released by the FHP at this time.
