The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that US 1 is shut down near CR-512. Please use other alternatives routes.
A semi truck became disabled while attempting a U-turn at 1:50 p.m. Friday.
The truck hit the divider pole, cutting the truck’s e-brake cable, disabling the truck.
All southbound lanes are currently blocked and drivers are being diverted to County Road 512.
A wrecker is en-route. However there will be an extended period of time US1 will be shut down.
