SEBASTIAN – Who else woke up this morning and had to increase the heat? It was a cold night in Sebastian, but don’t put those jackets away yet.

The temperature at 8 a.m. was at 47 degrees as people made their way to breakfast or work. Tuesday will be the coldest day of the week, with a high near 62 degrees.

Make sure you bundle up for Tuesday night because it’s dropping down again to 45 degrees. Winds will be out of the north at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday will warm up to 72 degrees with overnight lows dropping to 55.

Some showers are expected on Thursday as the high settles around 74 degrees. The low will be near 67. The chance of rain is 40 percent on Thursday.

Friday will have the warmest temperature this week with a high near 77 degrees. The overnight low will be 62 degrees. However, the rain chance increases to 60 percent and into the night. Plan on taking an umbrella Friday night if you’re going out.

For the weekend, you can expect highs near 73 for Saturday and Sunday. The lows will be near 55.

These colder temperatures are expected through Monday, but next week should be warmer.
